Thanks fellas! He started gobbling a solid 10 minutes before anything else in the woods had woken up. I was able to get within a 100 or so yards while putting a terrace between us. He ate up the series of tree yelps I gave him so I went quiet. I bet he gobbled another 30 times before I heard him drumming. I just about froze to death waiting on him to top that terrace. We ended up in a fist fight after my shot and I ended up stomping his fan off instead of his head! Haha Glad to get him even if he's missing nearly all his feathers. Big thanks to YEKRUT for making the call that killed him, and his buddy Brandon for teaching me how to score him. Really nice meeting you guys. It was good meeting you too. Congrats again on an awesome bird!
