Property has about 20 food plots

Sounds like a great club. Not politically correct but I like this:

If you want to keep pressure off the green fields, it is a great rule.

Shooting/killing/walking around in food plots is the best way to keep deer away.
Even more so if it is done year-round!!

I wish our club would do that. Our members feel the need to shoot hogs even when young bucks are in the patch.

I have hunted here before. Good club. Lots of deer. Tough to tell folks not to bring their kids or kill their turkey limit for that kind of money.

Just to be clear. This is not an Anti wife and kids club. People can bring their wife and kids every now and then.
I just wanted to be upfront about the type of club this is.
This isn't the type of club where you bring them on a regular basis.
Most members like to get away for the weekend to get away from the wife, kids, and stresses of life.
Drink a beer and cookout with the guys.

And as far the turkey. 14 members killing 5 birds a piece. You do the math.

I get it and this would have been the club for me in my early 20's. In fact, I'd been all over this fast!

At this point in my life, the way I get rid of stress is sharing the the camp and the woods with my wife and kids. Having a beer or 3, and cooking on the grill at camp with them as much as possible the most relaxing thing in the world to me. Plenty of folks want to get away so you won't have a problem filling those spots!Good luck!

To each his own, and I am sure it is a great Club!!
But, I don't understand guys who married a woman who is not their friend that they want to spend as much time with as possible!
And, honestly, the only guys I know who want to 'get away from kids' are the ones who do not have any.

Maybe Coe isn't married, and neither are any of the current members.

I belonged to a club like that many years ago...all younger, single guys who just wanted to hunt. It was great...very low pressure.

Guest policy was....no guests allowed.

Nothing wrong with setting the expectations of the club right up front...no surprises from either end that way.

Good luck finding members who fit what you're looking for, Coe.

Different strokes my man
Point you're missing is, other people may not want to hang out with your wife and kids

Oh, I agree!
And, I wished you good luck and appreciate your openness.

I just hope you don't wind up like my best friend who used to feel just like that......until he had 4 kids of his own and nobody wanted him in a hunting club! LOL

yeah I guess you have a point. I guess I've always considered it North, but the property is actually in SE Macon. The Camp house is about 4-5 miles north up in Society Hill in NE Macon, but it's a weird shaped county.
Anyway, we only have 3(possibly 1) spots left depending on what a couple of guys are going to do
So please email me if interested
Thanks
