Finally talked my two oldest daughters (11 & 9) into trying to actually shoot a turkey. They really haven't shown much interest in hunting themselves, they really just want to go ride the 4 wheeler or drive my truck. We had planned on going opening morning, but I talked myself out of dragging them out in the cold (34 degrees up here) because I didn't want them to hate it and never go back. We got in a blind I had set up in the corner of the pasture around 3 this afternoon with a few decoys out front, and Taylor had him dead by 4. Funniest thing is she has never shot a gun besides her bb gun and a 22 with and without a scope. She has 20/400 in her right eye, so she shoots right handed with her face on top of the stock where she can look out her left eye. It would be impossible without the ff3 on my Yildiz .410. She gave him a face full of TSS 9.5s at 20 yards and foldedemup! So proud of her and she was tickled silly!

If you want to always win, never play anyone better than you!
