I wish they would cut some of the timber on our lease. We need some cutover Better watch what you wish for. I'm watching it just hasn't happened  Ours isn't a timber company but once prices go up he is planning to cut. I think he is looking mostly at the planted pines in the bottoms but if he gets the hardwoods on the mountain side I won't complain either. Its some of the best hardwoods around. I hope he scalps the planted pines and does a select cut on the hardwoods. It would leave us for a couple years with a good viewing distances and then hopefully numbers would shoot up with the increased bedding area.
