How tight is the tolerance on the Benelli 3" 12 ga? I loaded a few and they ended up being in btw a 3 and a 3.5" factory shell. Do any of yall know if that will work? I know the 20s are finicky about the length. Thanks

On my m1 Benelli 12 GA, I use a 3 inch as first shot and back up shots are magblends or hvy 7s. Mine will shoot and eject the longer shells, but won't feed the follow up shell. On my m2 Benelli 20 GA, my 3 inch shells will work fine, but I haven't actually measured them to see if they are more than 3 inches like the 12 GA ones are.
If you want to always win, never play anyone better than you!

My shells ended up measuring exactly 2.75". Is that the same in your case?

The only way to know is try it. They all vary so much.
So you have a 3 inch gun and the shells lengths are between a 3 and 3.5?
If they dont work load some 2 3/4 shells. I dont know what loads are out there but I imagine there are some great ones.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

In my 20ga Benelli M2,I fold crimp my 3in reloads. It will shoot the 3in roll crimps, but not feed them. In my SBE2,I can shoot 3.5 roll crimps bot it won't feed them. I can trim 1/8" from a 3.5 hill and the roll crimp will feed.

Not my gun. I shoot an M2 20ga. I loaded some 12s for a buddy and didn't know if they would work or not since the 20 can be finicky with longer than normal shells. Got one to him this am to try. This is my 1st try at the 12s and didn't know if they usually turn out that long or if I had done something wrong. Thanks fellas
