I've been trying to figure out how to get one of those barrels full of peanut butter on and off my trailer. Then how to get it to a spot In the woods and up off the ground. The craigslist ad seemed to indicate a wheight of 550 lbs. I know water is 8.34 lbs per gallon so it would be 458.7 lbs at 55 gallons so 550 for PB sounds reasonable. That's a bit more than I can bench press these days.

If the Senate approves deer baiting does that mean that it will be legal to use peanut butter? grin

Is that why someone would want a 55 gal drum of it?

I met a couple country boys in the sporting goods section of Walmart some years ago and they said it was the best thing ever to attract deer. They swore by it. laugh
