Killing -- Sitting on a food plot planted specifically for hunting season and waiting on a buck to walk out to shoot it.
Hunting -- Scouting, woodsmanship, choosing stand sites, picking the right wind, studying the deer to learn its habits-locations.
Both are enjoyable and legal.
I have mixed views of your definitions. I agree but on the other hand it is all fair chase. But who are you or I to establish the definitions. If people used my definitions the world would probably be more screwed than it is. One thing for sure, we could discuss this for 100 pages and be back where we started.
