Seems I'm vastly into the minority here with my don't care attitude about the subject. Both sides are presenting sound arguments. But both sides are basing the arguments on mostly, not all, their views, opinions, and definitions of single words such as "hunt" and "bait". Some considered Indians to be great hunters. To me they weren't. They were killers. Anyway, anywhere, anyhow. Drive animals off a cliff to kill them. Drive them with fire. Herd them in a coral and shoot them at close range. They wouldn't waste their corn on deer.
So, are we hunters or killers? Where does it goes from one to the other? What is bait? Who gets to decide?
