I'm in South Baldwin county and have super sandy soil, what could I plant and have good results? Summer plots and a fall plot(to be planted in fall of course)

If it's sandy, first thing you need to do is a soil test asap.sand is notorious for low pH and not much will do squat in acid soil.
Lime will get it right pretty easily and then you can grow most anything you want. Fotunately, sand is easy to raise pH in

sunn hemp will add nutrients to the soil, but if the ph is low, the following crop will be unable to use them. My property is very sandy and I know what I'm talking about. At ph below 5, clover will germinate, then die. Not much but a pine tree will thrive in acid soil and soil testing and lime are cheap

soil test, lime, sun hemp, mow, no till plant a fall crop.
next year no till plant a crop in the spring.
You want to build the soil.

After 3 years of lime, then lime, then more lime, we finally have plots that stay green throughout the season. I have a small throw and now plot that is thick with Bahia now after a few years. Planning to disc that plot and plant some ICP this spring.
