More bucks than people realize are killed this way. I worked with a guy who has been hunting AL for years and they are notorious for sitting over their corn piles on a moon lit night waiting on the big boys to come in. I'm not saying that it isn't possible, but when you see guys that are killing moster bucks every single year...I have to question their tacts. These old bruisers are too smart for that in the Southeast. Maybe in the Midwest where they are alot more predictable and plentiful, but the odds of that happening year in and year out in this neck of the woods is slim...just my opinion for what it's worth.

Blackhawk wasn't the one whose daddy was chasing drug runners with black copters. He was the guy in Huntsville that lived with the Korean girls and couldn't type or handle a ground blind.

Ol' Timber will go down as one of the top 3 AlDeer dumb asses of all time. Who is the other 2?  No comment.  Im gonna guess that rock fella of whoever his name was that was constantly high on pain meds on here and had to get his wife to defend him as another. I heard she took a broom handle to trox in the gardening isle at walmaks You gotta' link to that story??? Lol nah I don't think she beat him but from what I remember him saying she did confront him in the walmart and tried to make him apologize for being a meany. Paging trox for the details. I believe it was on a post a few months back when shaw ended up banning him for the sixth time

Cant add too much to what has been posted. Often there will be a narrative from the officer but no such luck. On Oct 12 2016 it appears TB took a deer at night with the aid of a light and shelled corn. He was hunting on private property with an Encore 270. Warrants were issued on 10-31 and he was arrested on 11-2. There were 5 charges resolved early Jan as follows: (1) Closed Season 250 fine and costs, 30 days suspended 2 years unsupervised probation. (2) Hunting after dark - appears to be placed on administrative docket for 12 months conditioned on him doing no hunting of any kind for 12 months. Not clear but usually this means at the end of this time it will be dismissed. (3) Taking a deer at night - 500 fine and costs, 30 days consecutive, suspended 2 years unsup probation, fine and costs to be paid in 6 months. (4) Failure to have a pen and paper on person - dismissed (5) Hunt over bait 500$ fine and costs, 60 days suspended, 2 years un sup probation. Costs run about 300 in each case.
Appears he did not have a lawyer. Also appears fines and costs have been paid. Looks like he came out pretty light for a repeat offender. Stephens was the GW.
