This gives you an idea on how big that coyote was. Top of the fence where he is hanging is 5'3".

Not bad for first night, but I also had several fired traps and pullouts. Not sure what the problem was. I wonder if it could be the homemade pan covers I was experimenting with. I have been using polyfil, but, after the rain washed the sifted dirt down and exposed the pan at the last place I trapped, I decided I'd try a pan cover to see if it made a difference.

Wow. I didn't notice that. It looks like it in the picture. I'm almost sure it isnt but kinda makes me want to dig it up tomorrow to be sure. I think it's an optical illusion
