I have an affinity compact with the 24" barrel. Is anyone shooting a ic .562 of a hevi shot choke in .562 with tss#9 and what are your numbers?

Most of us shoot a .575 and up when using 9's. I've saw some really tight patterns with IC .555 and .562 but most would rather have a more open pattern. The really cheap chokes seem to shoot the 9's good. I shot a Carlson's .575 last year and am gonna go to an Undertaker .582 this year.

I have a Carlson .575 that is too tight. I also have a trulock .585 that shoot 220-250. Was trying to get in the 275-300 range but not over 300 I agree on getting too tight.

Not yet but Squeaky shoots 8's through his and I saw how it performed first hand. I am going to the 8's this year. I've read where lots of guys just use the factory modified choke too.

With 9's?? That number seems WAY low for that load. What is the constriction on that choke?

The Carlson's .575 in my gun shoots about what you are wanting but mine has the 26" barrel. I've got some pattern pics somewhere if I can find them.

I'm not sure of the construction on the factory full. The more I think about it I think the 205 with the factory full was with 8.5s

I'm getting high 250's in the 10 & of 20 with a 1 7/8 oz load of 8's through a .582 undertaker HD ported with the exact same gun as you have. It's bad news on a turkey much further than someone should shoot one.

Pattern report. Undertaker XT hd ported 1 5/8 9s. 342 in the ten and 170 in the 20. Almost too tight. I will try 8.5s soon. 54 degrees
