I live in the back of my subdivision at the end of a culdesac. I am backed up to the wood line and have deer eating in by back yard. One of the deer coming in is a STUD. Some of my neighbors have been feeding it as well because they have asked me if I have seen him. well he was chasing a doe all behind my house late yesterday evening and hooked all my fruit trees and broke one of them.. I have thought about smoking him with the bowtech but I know my neighbors would get pissed.. They have even named him Elvis. Sometimes he feeds in their front yards and they video him. So, Should I put a slick trick inn his lungs? The deer is about 125" 9 point. I have never killed anything that big in my life. I am not in the city limits.

You serious Clark? I'd cut em if you got a chance on your place.

Kill it. None of your neighbors business if its on your property, especially if its damaging your fruit trees. I don't discriminate myself, I'd shoot one in my yard.

I assume your lot is the average size for a subdivision, an acre or less. If that's the case, there zero chance that deer dies on your property. If you don't have permission to trail deer onto neighboring property, then you'll have to trespass to retrieve him. I'm assuming the pissed neighbors might be inclined to report you. You said they'd be pissed.
Not worth it. Enjoy watching him. Edited to say zero chance he dies on your property if shot with a bow.

Put his chin on the ground! Only problem is with a bow he may run onto one of "Elvis's" fan's property. Might not turn out so good. I'd shoot him in the head or neck with something that goes POW. Heck get a depredation permit, .

Thought about getting on my roof to get a good angle so I can spine him that way he can't run.. neghibors cant see the back of my house. But if he jumps the string I could strap him.. I'm pretty sure he would run back in the woods but who knows. I'm definitely going to video it and post here. He's out here right now actually. Chasing a spike away. He comes and goes throughout the night.

With out a doubt I would kill it. One of the biggest I have killed was with a 30-06 with my neighbors outside cooking out. I was in a ladder looking across the road in some pines. One of those deals where you beg for forgiveness instead of permission
