I just saw this and I'm crying right now. I'm so sorry Irish. Please know that my wife and I will be praying for your family today and for the days to come. Words can't express the sorrow I feel for you loss, man. You did the right thing. Kids are only on loan from us from God. You turned him back over to God with his addiction and God has finally healed your beloved Chris. Bless you, brother.

Once again... The outpouring of support from you guys has been overwhelming. What an incredible group of folks on here. We can argue and piss and moan at each other, but when one of us in in need everyone steps up to the plate and goes to bat. It is truly inspiring. Outdoorsmen are great folks by any standard. I have responded to all the private messages, but there is no way I can respond to everyone in this thread. I can say that I truly love you all and I thank you for your support and prayers from the bottom of my heart. If you missed it please go back and read my second post in this thread. My youngest daughter and my stepson still need your prayers. And my ex-wife, Chris' mom is having a particularly difficult time dealing with this situation and she could use your prayers too. I know from replies and PM's that other folks are going through similar circumstances. If any of you need to talk, PM me and I will give you my number and you can call. God has strengthened my faith through this whole ordeal, and if I can lend an ear i will be happy to listen. We will have a visitation at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday 1/22/2017 from 5:00 to 6:00 in the chapel with a brief memorial service immediately following.
