Anyone on here do any flufishing for Bass, Bream or trout?
I love to flyfish but recently it has only been in the Mountains for trout, but there is nothing much funner than a 2 pound larg mouth on a fly rod.

I like the Revolution, Outback and the new fishing model they just introduced. The first two are about $1,700 and the fishing model is $2,100 but tricked out specifically for fishing.

They're quite fun.

Reckon how them fins will hold up running into rocks and such

When in shallow water, you push the pedals to the max to lock the fins into place flush with the hull.

Scroll down to see the fins against the hull. I believe newer models have the hull molded with a bit of indention to accept the fins better.

Plus the pedals and fins can be removed if you don't want to use them. Kinda freaky to have a hole in the hull but it doesn't fill up with water or sink ... even with a 250-pound writer huffin' and puffin' along.

NFL Hall of Fame tight end Jackie Smith works with Hobie and helped design the new fishing model. He took me out for a spin on the Arkansas River two years ago ... and Smith is about 6-7 and 230 (or so). He zipped along quite easily. Great guy, too.

I try and fly fish for bream and bass a few times every year. A lot a fun to hook a 2-3+ lb bass on a fly rod.

When our twins were born in 1993 I started tying flies with all the late hours. I bet I tied 10-20 flies a night sometimes. It brings back good memories as it helped pass the colic effect on two babies. Those babies are now 16. I need to dust off the old boxes of fly tying gear. Thanks for the memories.

I fish 3-4 times a week in my pond with the fly rod. To me it's the most fun way to fish.

It is indeed fun. I try to hit the farm ponds several times a year for the small bream nad small bass left in there. I really like to hit the big water from time to time, but neither doe killer of I have a boat any more. I am trying to teach Will (4 years old ) to fly fish but he is a dedicated spincaster. Once we get our Mountain House rebuilt, I will start to hit the streams in the National Park again. The trout may be small but they are a blast to catch. I also need to dig out the fly tieing stuff. I think I might be able to find a little deer hair for bass bug on here.

I would love to purchase the Ultimate 14.5 tandem for my son and I to fish the creeks and rivers in Alabama.

I got into creek fishing a few years ago and now I love it. We have a lake home on Mitchell and I still would prefer to be on a small remote creek fishing for spots.

I flyfish for bass and bream almost exclusively. Gonna hit certain creek right over the mountain in town on a special hole I found the other day.

I love using the Hula Popper flies this time of year. What is really fun is when you get a 5-6lb head to slurp one down. When you get one that makes your wrist hurt you know yuo have done good !!

They used to have a flyfish tourney at Howton's every May. Has not happened in several years.
