A bunch of crap. Way for them to stick it to common folk. I put corn out but don't hunt close to it and have never killed any of my deer around a spot like that. What I do is put maybe 25-50 pounds and only a couple times a year to get and idea of what I have on my camera. I enjoy getting the pics and maybe see if any good bucks in the area. Also put cams on scrapes and those areas are where I will hunt. I see nothing wrong with doing that and hunt with folks that are like me.

Oh yea I got one. My question is you can feed your property or whatever but as long as your not hunting over it or around it your good but like in that picture shown they say it was illegal. What if no body hunts that then how is that illegal? It's not. Apparently no one that works at the DCNR would ever make it in law school. They are so full of contradictions, half truths, suppositions, assumptions, and down-right bad logic it's amazing. I understand your frustration. Believe me, I'm with you. But there are some good people inside the department understands and wants to do the right thing. Unfortunantley, those are not the ones sending out the communications.

A couple of things:
1. Baiting is still illegal, supplemental feeding isn't. If you can't figure out the difference, then I suggest you don't try either.
2. Corn may not be easy to spot from the air, but concentrations of crows and turkeys aren't.
3. While the state may have limited airpower resources, the National Guard has much more. Furthermore, their pilots are required to put in so many hours of flight time. All it takes is for an LEO to ask and they will happily accommodate them on a flight. I've done it. Also had a private pilot fly myself and another detective over a scene where a dead body was found and film the scene from the air. For the record if you are prone to motion sickness, about an hour in a helicopter is enough and running a video camera from a plane window is not good.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Bunch of rookies. Everybody knows there's a technique to putting corn out. You have to scatter it in a circle and place it in a wooded area. That's what my friend told me

I sat on a public land hunt about three years ago while a small plane flew low around in circles. Probably circled for about twenty minutes or so. Made for a really enjoyable hunt.

We have low level flights of military helos all the time over us, we are just south of Montgomery. I am not sure but non military aircraft have restricted areas due to Maxwell?
Nothing to see on our place so don't waste our money!

Damn, I was sick.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Nothing to see on our place so don't waste our money! The military helos are worked on over there, maybe at Danelly. I knew a guy that worked on them and they would be test flying almost daily. According to him they would target foodplots on the test flights to look at deer. I know they would go as far as Dallas Co because he would screw with me when he found my truck. Also claimed to see alot of deer in foodp!it's at noon.

I got it. Whoever puts a feeder in their food plot deserves a ticket if they are caught hunting over it. I can promise you that picture was not taken in an area with a good bear population too

After reading the email my question is, have any of you heard this nasty rumor that the DNR is allowing hunting over bait. I know I haven't. It seems to me if there was this rumor running rampant out there it would be all over social media.
