I've got some family coming into town this weekend and was looking for some pointers for Lake Jordan. I know the weather should be warm the next few days so hopefully that'll help. They'll prolly want to try their hand at crappie and some spots. Are they constantly running the water with all of the rain we've had? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks...

i don't know about the crappie, but if they're running water it's hard not to catch a spot. usually when the waters running you can catch them right off the bank. it's hard to go wrong throwing a finesse worm on rock banks, and seawalls with rocks.

i usually call this number
1800 525 3711 and follow the prompts for jordan dam and mitchell dam. i know mitchell has been running almost constant 3 and 4 turbines and they slowed them down to 2 today and supposedly the same for tommorow.

not sure about crappie, but a buddy of mine caught 14 pounds in a afternoon tournament up there and he never left the canal.
