Correct me if I'm wrong but, SD doesn't tax military pay, right? If so, it would make sense to change residency and buy out of state license.


I don't think they have income tax period but I know they don't tax military. You're right, but since my lifestyle is so mobile I figured it would be best just to keep the AL residence instead of constantly changing it. Plus I like having a permanent address to have mail sent to if I had to.
