I'm glad he is ok. Definitely lucky to walk away from that.

David B. It happened some time between 2:15 and 3:30 am. From the tire marks where he left the road he never made an attempt to brake or bring it back on the road. I think he fell asleep.   I think that the toolbox in this picture kept the truck from sliding in on him. I think he landed just behind where the truck is according to the imprint on the ground. The toolbox is jammed against a tree and truck jammed against it.

Dang. Glad he's ok. Sure enough lucky that it wasn't any worse.
I fell asleep at the wheel once, Lucky for me I coasted across a median, 2 lanes of traffic and into an open field at 5 am with no traffic what-so-ever present. I woke up as my jeep cruised across the field. Sat there for a second and drove my jeep back to the highway and on to work. I had stayed up all night hanging out with my buddys. I was probably 17-18ish. I was thankful that it wasn't a bad turnout for me and have learned my lesson when it comes to driving while tired.
