Anyone else having a hard time getting into hunting this year with the hot weather? I can walk out my door and hunt but haven't been one time so far this year. I hope this weather breaks and turns cold pretty soon. I did finally plant some plots a few weeks back, so I guess this hot weather is good for the plots, but not good for hunting. I am more of a Jan/Feb hunter anyway, but I usually do a little early hunting just to get it out of my system, but I haven't had the urge to go so far...
Yep. Went up to panhandle for doe days weekend and rained whole time and warmer temperatures. Sat one afternoon and didn't see anything. Warmer weather just ruins it. Plots are coming in though and rain definitely helped. Hoping for cold mid to late January and early February during rut.
