Pulled all of mine this morning! Had 2 coons on drowners but they aren't very photogenic after they spend the night underwater. Lol!
Big coons! Just came in from skinning and hung them both on the scales. One was 15lbs and the other was 16lbs. Funny to catch 2 that big, same night and they weren't 10 feet apart.

How often do y'all check your traps for coyotes?
Also I see you have to be a liscensed fur catcher to catch fox and bobcat so I'm assuming if you catch one trying to trap coyotes and are not licensed you have to release it?

If you are trapping your own land you don't need a license if you aren't doing it for any commercial purposes or using the pelts. Basically if you are just doing it for predator control you don't need a license. It's easier to buy one anyway though you never know what you might catch and want to do something with the fur.

Good catches Lonnie! That grey sure made a mess with your chain didn't he? Lol!
My DP traps have 10' of chain on them and I've had some coons tie them in knots before.

My DP traps have 10' of chain on them and I've had some coons tie them in knots before. Thanks. Yes the grey was caught in a dirt hole set for coyote, on a drag with 10' of chain. Once caught he proceeded directly to to sapling that the drag was hooked to and commenced to wrapping, tangling and even knotting up the chain!
