Congrats Ben! I found a little blood at shot site, but decided just to wait til not the morning. We don't have much land, so really don't want to push him and meat will be fine as chilly as it is.

No. Everything at the time of the shot made me think good hit. Thump like a brisket shot, mule kick, ran into the property line fence instead of jumping it. Very spotty blood, never found arrow. Blood appeared to be muscle, so I'm assuming shoulder shot. Although it didn't sound like it. Lost blood in a finger running between two pastures. The finger ran for a half mile further, walked it out and never found more blood or deer. Hopefully he recovers

Bow hunting is tough stuff.
