Seen lots of doe and one small buck. Letting them walk since that one less doe might bring the shooter.

Very good. Killed a 135" with my bow on Halloween day, plus 4 more does with my bow. Have seen a crap-ton of deer, most have been on acorns and honestly I'm STILL seeing my deer on acorns. This has been one of the best years for sheer numbers I can remember in a while. I've let lots of deer walk, small bucks mostly (let a 13"/14" eight walk two weekends ago with my bow, that's not easy for a goober like me! LOL). I do much of my hunting on a military base and they allow two does and two bucks (4 one on side +) per hunter, and I've already got one buck and two of my does there, so I'm being really selective now. I think I've seen 20+ deer three different times this season.

I've seen a lot less deer this year than years past. I don't always hunt food plots but hunt around them a lot and without the plots we have no draw. Half our lease is 2 year old planted pines that was sprayed so very little browse and the other half is 15 year old pines awaiting their first thinning. Again very little browse. Our plots are utilized heavily and deer sightings are suffering because of the drought.

Good season so far. I've seen lots of deer. Only one buck though....a prong horn. Waiting for them to get on their feet.

I've hunted less and enjoyed it more. I've quit turning it into work and just letting it come. I think I'm growing up. It also helps when you quit giving a chit. I am looking forward to the last 3 weeks of season and my first time to hunt February.

Pretty crappy, although started off good. 51 sits, in 4 states. 23 sits where I was skunked.... Haven't seen a racked buck in a month, even though the rut should be going at one of my places. Killed two does. I've seen 3 shootable bucks. All inside of 40yds. The first was a 120-125" 10pt I'm after. Never had a shot even though he spent 30-45 minutes within 50yds of me. Next a decent deer in ky, came running to rattling and flipped around and hauled ass when he winded me at 30yds. Next a 140-150" 10pt in Russell county. Could have shot him but wasn't clear on how big he was until I had missed my chance. Since gun season came in, I've been skunked 80% of the time, where as bow season I saw deer every hunt but one. Getting burned out, maybe it will get better. Don't really have any ruts left to hunt.

Been a sorry ass season so far for me. Works had me covered up and I can't hardly get out there. Seen a few does on some sits and saw two Nice bucks while scouting, wasn't able to get a shot, and overall the majority of my sits have been Skunked.

My main hunting property is all pine plantation and the deer responded really well to food plots last year. Lack of free time and the drought has kept me from getting any plots done, but I am thankful to have a new clear cut to hunt that has some browse in it.

I hope I change my tune after these next couple of weeks as I actually have some free time to get on some deer and do some tractor work.

Quite enjoyable season so far. Have been able to hunt about as frequently as I want, even during the hot early season. I try to learn something about where I hunt every time I go and believe I have this year.

Got some great camera photos. Found some new things I'm still exploring. Still doing a couple of things in set-up mode for the end of January and 10 days in February. Haven't taken a shot yet but it's been fun and there's still a lot of time.

Plus, what I've learned and seen about the predators gives me something to do in spring. Should be a hoot.

I've been blessed with a great November - actually my best start ever. I killed a 5 1/2 year old 8 pt. on 11/7 with a crossbow, and then killed a 4 1/2 year old 11 pt. on 11/20 with a shotgun. Both came off Fort Knox. The 8 pt. was dogging a doe, and the 11 pt. was out cruising on a 22 morning. Given my start to this season, I've been really laid back on my Alabama hunting. That said, starting around Jan. 10th I'll be getting after 'em hard up here.

Let me finish by saying that I'm very thankful to the good Lord for all He has blessed me with, including these two great bucks this season!

Mine hasn't started yet. I'll start getting cranked up next week. I like to peak about the last week of January. Will definitely push that off til the first week of February this year.

I'll be in my prime about the time most guys will be getting burned out.

Both of my boys have connected so I'm thankful for that. Deer sightings have been very minimal but first year on new property and still trying to learn patterns.
