Well, I'm here. Scared a doe coming in. Thought I could get here earlier but it took me forever to climb this mountain with my climber, so I'm basically setting it up to leave for tomorrow morning. It would take a miracle to see anymore deer this evening, I felt like i was louder than a freight train comin in. Oh well, we will see!

Can't get in the blind due to this guy being in the field. Just hanging out on the ground until he leaves.

God Bless,

Had pics of a couple studs on their feet this morning at around 830. They must be getting excited in Perry co. Me and the little ones are getting settled in.

Lol sounds like me this morning. Made all kinds of racket and was getting aggravated. Then while I was trying to setup the climber on the tree, I heard something walking behind me, so I put the climber on the ground and grabbed my gun. About that time I saw movement y and realized it was a small buck then another one. MAYBE 10 yards away. They did spook when they saw all my crap in the firebreak but didn't know what was going on and stayed around for probably 30 minutes stomping and looking before finally easing off.

Haha. I am not even after that one today. Hoped dad would be able to get here to try that one but he will have to wait a day or two.

That's a hoss, Ben. I hope you can get him!

I'm back in the same spot as this morning. I've got a big 9 point on camera here a lot and I just keep hoping he'll come out here in the daylight. Maybe today's the day!?

Good luck!!!

Don't know about in Alabama, but the deer were stirring in Tennessee. Saw 35 between Fayetteville and Lynchburg this morning.

Ended up seeing what I THINK was a buck. Big ol body, but it was about 150 yards off running through some thick stuff and and barely caught a glimpse of it. Got my nerves all shook up though. I was on high alert after that. Saw 4 does about an hour later.
