I have a wooden dowel rod marked that I use. If I had to guess, about 1/8 of an inch. That would be really close.
Ive been shooting the set up for 2 seasons and don't know half of what a lot of these other guys do- but think most people shooting automatics are trimming the hulls.
Thats about how much i trim mine. I dont measure...I just trim off the chamfered portion of the hull. I just follow the line where the chamfer stops (CD taught me that trick).
