I looked at a friends 99 Tacoma with a 4 cyl. today. It makes a pretty loud tapping noise at idle. You can hear it from 30 feet away. Rev it up a little and it goes away. Turn the AC on and the noise lessens but is still there. It's full of oil and only has 205K miles.
Before I dig any deeper I thought I would ask you toyota guys.
Take your kids hunting instead of hunting your kids.
I'd rather be LOST in the woods than FOUND in the city.
Drive a hybrid, I need your gas.
