I'm guessing if he admitted to deer hunting as well, that is where the ticket came into play. The dead hog doesn't really matter.
Good point. If he told the GW he was deer hunting but shot a hog then he admitted to a violation. Other than that obviously you don't need a harvest record for just hog hunting.
