I fished today and had best day Ive ever had by far. I weighed in 7 fish for a total of 38 lbs 8 ounces anchored with a 8lb 14oz and 6lb 6oz. Needless to say I won the tourny. Im pretty sure the 8 14 would have been over 9 pounds if I would have weighed her when she was caught. She left eggs all in my livewell and was spewing when I dipped her. All fish came in less than 2 foot on carolina rigged lizards. Of course I left my camera at home. I dont like the idea of 7 fish limit but I did weigh my best 5 at 29lb 12oz

That's a heck of a catch. That's a big old sow. Our club was won with 5 at 27 lbs with second being 26 lbs. The fish I was catching refused to bite. I had one keeper around 3 lbs. Needless to say, I got drilled.  I hear the carolina rig is getting hot. I may have to break mine out.
