Do any of you shoot or ever practice with both eyes open? I stopped shooting some time ago with one eye closed. As long as your eye is in the correct place in relation to the peep sight it makes no difference. I shot until dark tonight and I noticed how much easier it is to see my sights with both eyes open. Once I turned on my sight light, it kept the bright pins from "blocking" the 3D target.

Other things being equal, it is the man who shoots with his heart in his bow that hits the mark.

Sometimes, but I seem to hit the mark better when they are both closed, then I wake up!

Some of both.
It has been harder for me to adjust to both eyes. Don't really know why.

I can't. I'm right handed and left eye dominant. I have to close my left eye.

I'm left eye dominate, shoot right handed and shoot with both eyes open.

I start out getting on target with both open, then close one to make sure I'm lined up the same, then open back up to both

What??? You're supposed to have your eyes open? Dang it man...I was following Uncle Ted's lead and just saying a prayer and letting it rip!

Guess I'm doin' it wrong but it's how I learned a long time ago. I get on the target with both open then close one.

I have been practicing with both open this year and I am a much better shot. It takes getting used to, but it has helped my accuracy a lot.

You guys that shoot with one, should try with both, using the light on your sight. The Afterburner light on my Copper John sight doesn't shine on the pins, it shines on the fiber optic wrap, but it was amazing to me how much better I could see the deer target with both eyes open.
I shoot with both eyes open all the time, except when I'm shooting at 50 and 60 yards. My aging eyes can't focus as well at that distance with the peep.
