I've heard of the "trail trees" before. I've seen a couple disfigured like that on the farms I hunt. The ones I've seen aren't near as large...I just half assumed that it was formed naturally. May have to take a little closer look. I found a nutting stone or possibly a hammer stone this past summer scouting. Sent skinny a pic of it..
