How do you do that, it seems you'd have to look through the peep with your left eye?

I do look through the peep with my left eye, it's my dominant eye and I also shoot left handed. My guess, just a guess, is you have to shoot dominant eye "handed" to shoot with both eyes open. The peep sight is nothing more than a consistent reference point for where to look. It makes you anchor the same. I can shoot and have shot without a peep, but the string blur in front of my eye bothers me now.

Folks,
Shoot the way you are confident with and the way you sighted in with. If you start changing eyesight, you'll get rights or lefts depending on the dominant eye and right/left handed. There's no right way or wrong way.

I'm left eye dominate,so I shoot left handed bow and rifle. The US ARMY classified me as expert that way so I'll stick to it.
Right eye shut.

Nope, look through the peep with my right eye. Starting shooting with both open back when I started shooting competitively. In low light I have to squint my left eye.
