That's AWESOME!!! He will always be special to you, no matter what he scores. I am not the greatest guesser, but I think you are very close. I would guess 105 +- 5 inches.

Thanks everyone, learned ALOT from reading the forums on Serious Deer Talk last year and this year. Find the acorns and scrapes before the first freeze and you find the deer!

Congrats!! It's a good feeling when you conquer it. When I first started trying to be selective,I got into a slump and missed like 3 or 4 good bucks. Finally,I was able to connect and haven't looked back since. I still get buck fever now,just getting better at managing it. Heck,I even get doe fever when I got a bow in my hand

Nothing like the heart pounding when you first see a doe or buck. Completely froze in my stand when a 10 point ran bye a few years ago, I missed a 7 point last year, and shot over a nice 8 with my bow during bow season. After the bow miss, I told myself if I saw another buck I was gonna have to get a grip LOL
