Easy, in thick timber even in bright sun light, I can see them and get on a deer quick. The lighted dot would be good about the last 10 minutes of legal light in timber.

I like a heavy duplex with thick, black center section, period.

I wouldn't burn the light in daylight, I just want "cross hairs" I can see.


The dot is even brighter in daylight because it uses fibre optic during daylight. The tritium is not selectable and is only visable in low light. They also offer a triangle that is thick if that is more to your liking. I still think a German #4 is the best hunting reticle made but I liked the Trijicon system just fine, too.
