What type of hunting? If it's steep mountain hunting, get something proven with ALOT of ankle support. Nothing worse than twisting an ankle on the mountains, except blisters maybe. I've had good luck with Lacrosse boots on the less steep stuff. My Kenetrek's have my mountain boot needs covered. I'm looking for something to wear in Alabama. I normally wear rubber boots in the swamps, but looking for something for when I hunt the hills.
