Hey I hunted Skyline a few times over the past few years and at the guard shack to get our permits, 4 350+ lb guys pulled up in a Civic on a gun day. You never know what you'll see on gun days on public land.
I'm the same way though. We have 1500 acres in Stevenson (bow only), so I'm going to stick with that. I'm from Stevenson, live in Huntsville now. Been thinking about heading back that way to hunt, but I wasn't sure how bad the public land over there has got. How's the hunt so far this year?
