We can shoot at a deer, and a tree limb deflects bullets, but its gonna keep on digging and not deflect off steel..  if the bullet is falling fast enough to bend down the expanded metal but not enough to catch the inside corner OR the glob of weld AND then hit the other side, this very well may be an assassination attempt. Behold the magic bullet!! Sticking to my guns, i still think lightning hit it

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

It's so obvious as to what happened. It was clearly bitten by one of them black panthers. The population is growing in Alabama I seen them on Facebook almost every day

Bullet theory is the most logical. Although, if you look at the aerial, the stand our basically surrounded by fields. I realize there's a tree line behind it, but I wouldn't think, even a tall tree would conduct or collect a build-up of electricity like the metal tripod would. Therefore it's basically a metal tower surrounded by fields. That helps the lightning theory. I really don't think that's what happened, but, you can bet I'd give it some thought the next time I was hunting it and a bad cloud blew up..

It came to me in the middle of the night.
It's a bot fly larvae (Wolf/Wolve) like skwerls get. One or two good freezes will kill it, then it will heal up.
