Should American soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq not check for American citizenship during a firefight? If not, why not? According to your logic, not to do so would be to deny due process to any American jihadists present.

Don't try to deflect the question by giving answers about how we shouldn't be there in the first place--answer the question that's posed to you.
