We were supposed to leave next Tuesday morning 11/1 after taking the kids trick or treating but we're pushing our trip back a week due to the hot weather.
Anyone else worried about the temps up there?

I am hopefully heading up that way 11/7-11/13 to hunt private ground. The 9-12th have been great days for me the last 2 years.

West central. Had this same farm for about 10yrs now. Buddy that lives there said he's seeing a lot of chasing now. Just worried about hot weather and day time activity.

Heading up on the 3rd of November for an 11 day trip split between there and Kentucky. Temperature definitely sucks but it is what it is and beats working. What's crazy is the variation in forecasts between AccuWeather and weather.com--definitely hoping accuweather is more accurate!!

My son and I are headed to Rushville Nov 16. Went last year same week and most bucks were already locked down. When we go it's either hot or pouring rain! LOL Good luck and give us a report. I'll do the same.

Haven't decided dates yet. Going to pike co and brown co. Maybe even a few others depending on how things look. Got several private farms up there to hunt. All depends on how much I have to work

My dad is up there now. He said they saw 200+ deer yesterday while scouting and hanging stands. Today was their first day hunting. I'm going to head to ky at some point. Gonna try to coordinate when I can skip a few classes with the weather. Thinking end of next week right now.

Had a piece of private property in Kentucky lined up for next weekend but it fell through so now I have to go back to public land. Can't make up my mind on where to go since I've never been hunting in Kentucky. Heard that the small bucks are starting to chase and a cold front is suppose to come in Thursday. I'm going Friday so maybe it will be good.

Got back yesterday from Pike County. Young bucks starting to chase does pretty hard. Hot temps had movement limited to right at daylight and close to dark.
Highs in mid to upper 60's. Lows in 4's
South wind most of week
