Not saying that God can't change hearts,but he can also give us what we want, even if it isn't the best thing for us. Remember that God didn't want Israel to have a king but gave them one because they wanted one.

Lucado is strong as new rope. I've read most of his books. Met him in the 90s at the huge Promise Keeper rally in Washington, DC. Despite all the crowds, Max sat down to visit with my sons and me. Then he asked if he could pray with us. I will never forget it.
