I hunt from the ground mostly. Last year the time to be in the woods was opening day till right around the first week of December. I shot a doe opening day of bow season missed one the next day and shot another the following day. I killed a 6 point the day before thanksgiving 8 the next then a bigger 8 the first few days of December. I ended shooting another doe with a rifle during doe days in the national forest that i gave to my dad. It was a good year for me down there. Save some deer for the rest of us!!!
