The one I have is a couple of years old, but it had this in the box above my signature:

may accept anything of value from a person in exchange for particitpating in the taking of wildlife under this permit.


I got one because some of the people on our lease wanted to bait and trap hogs. I figured even if I was hunting them legally, if somebody had bait or a trap in the "area", whatever that means, I would have a permit to cover me.

Where I grew up, a man's word is his bond. If you agree to abide by the law, then that's what you should do, IMO.
