Another victim. It's ok unfortunately there's a lot of mis representation made out in the field by folks who just simply have zero agronomic training.

There are some very knowledgeable people that work at the Co-Op, some not so much. Always do your own research and never trust a salesman until he's proven himself competent.

Liquid anything is great for a (short) time. But you can expect it to be gone in weeks not months. I'll stick with granular it will give you longer results.

I use pelleted lime all the time because the co-op won't deliver to my mountain property. It works well. Theoretically speaking, 1800lbs of bagged lime equals to 1 ton of ag lime, but i just do it 1-1. My neighbor uses liquid lime on his patures and it works well, but it doesn't last long, maybe a year or 2. Its cheap and easy to put out, but in the long run its more labor intensive. Sandy soil reacts faster to lime, but the lime will leach thru the soil profile a lot faster, so it wont last as long.
