I've wondered if 4 black sprinters would have been hounded in the media like these guys have. That being said what those swimmers did was dumb as hell especially to do it in a 3rd world country.

Working in Mexico and Brazil, there have been several occasions I've told co-workers to shut their damn mouth, this isn't the US and they do things differently here. Or at least, if they're not going to shut up, stand somewhere other than anywhere close to me! Hassles by the Mexican police and/or military were commonplace, and guys would just start bitching like they had a right to free speech down there! Personally, I never had the remotest desire to see what the inside of a Mexican or Brazilian jail looked like!

Honestly after all the stories and how dangerous they've made Rio out to be. If I was in a taxi and someone pointed a gun at me and said give me your money I would've thought I was being robbed also. This is just BS political moves here, carry on nobody will even remember this happened in a week.

I'm betting that if they were the black they would say the questionings were racially motivated. Regardless, the swimmers should be held accountable for their actions and have embarrassed our country.
