Is that a D series? I have never seen a model 19 without adjustable sights. The K series should have a K in the serial number. Model 19 was not made with adj sights. If he post the model, I'd be willing to bet it's a Model 13 Ahh, Yes a model 19 has adjustable rear sight. Model 65 has fixed sights, heavy barrel, but stainless. 13 I believe is the blued.
