Father in law bought one last year and it ran fine this year stays in the shop not firing sputtering you name it and they can't figure out what's making it do it at the Kubota place...my opinion run away from them
What engine does he have? Im just thinking if it was a Kawasaki, Kohler, etc, you could have the same problems with any brand of mower. How is Kabota when it comes to warranty service? Are they good about it, or do they give him a hard time?
