I've had a ZD221 for over 5 years now and never had an issue. I've got over 4 acres I keep cut. I keep the maintenance up on it and make sure I grease it every other cutting. I just replaced the deck belt about a month ago. It was tough dropping that kind of coin on one, but it was money well spent. It was taking me over 6 and a half hours to cut my yard on a regular riding mower and it was killing my screwed up back. Now I can cut and weedeat everything in about 3 and a half hours.
