We will be at the state 4-H horse show thru Monday. My oldest daughter is competing in several classes this year. Happy 4th to all!

Had planned on going to Lake Martin but as crowded as it was last weekend we decided to stay home and let the crazies have it. We'll cook some ribs and just hang out around the house.

Started out today with Cracker Barrel country ham and the Farmers Market; gonna swim and grill this afternoon, shoot some bottle rockets tonight; church and then the "Fabulous Fifties" show at Whole Backstage tomorrow; swim and eat BBQ and go to fireworks show Monday. Need to work on boat trailer lights sometime.

Hang out by the pool at Momma and Daddy Gomer's. Played golf this morning. Played better than I've played in about 15 yrs. Now got some meat on the grill and drink in hand.

Visiting my mom and dad on the MS gulf coast. Just ate two big bowls of gumbo. Gonna do a little pier fishing and watch fireworks tomorrow night. And hang around the pool

Amazingly not crowded at all. Neighbors on both sides didn't show. Have seen very few boats. I assume everyone figured what you did

The wife and I brought my daughter down to Orange Beach. It's her first trip to the beach. I haven't been to the beach in about 15 years. Spent last week in Saint Lucia with the wife and now the Redneck Riviera. It sucks not having someone bringing us drinks on the beach.

Down at the in laws place on lake martin. The wife and I have it to ourselves. Taking off till Wednesday. Nice little 4 day weekend

My weekend started off with a trip to Wetmpka to babysit our 3 month old grandsons while our daughter and son-in-law (Jwyatt) went to a movie with our 5 year old grandson. Then I headed to my sister-in-law's condo at Lake Martin to spend the weekend with my sisters-in-law and th 5 year old grandson to celebrate my birthday and Independence Day. We are planning on watching the fireworks up here Monday night and then I will be leaving Tuesday morning, dropping the grandson off and headed home. So far, it has been a quite enjoyable time!

 Walmart Ozark Trails 30 oz insulated mug. Testing out with Chuck Miller moonshine, Cheerwine, and blueberries mixed up with ice. Nice refreshing liquor drink for the 4th.
