I enjoyed them here, as you said, the other is rarely checked.

Especially considering during the non hunting season the main topic board is slow

I will try to remember to check that one because I enjoy your food posts

Yes... And that's why I'm posting them there. At first I thought that no one hardly ever went there.

I only share them so other's might be inspired to branch out with their own cooking...

There is a reason we have those subforums. The traffic in here would get to hard to manage if we didn't. It's bad enough now with the stupid spinoff threads. If someone posts needing help here with something it ends up on page 2 in a day because of the traffic. Just because it's something you think is the coolest thing ever doesn't mean it belongs here if there is another place for it. It's nothing personal. We moderate this site to help the owners because their friends and we love this place but we don't have time to police every forum all day because we have jobs so we split that up. Every popular forum does the exact same thing and most are much stricter about it.

Just my opinion, but if there was a "Politics" forum, things wouldn't slide to the 2nd page

I understand that things would get heated and it's hard to find a moderator

So were supposed to just spam this forum and trash the others that people put a lot of work in because you're to lazy to go look for it in another one? The whole point of those forums is to make it easier to find similar information.

No chit! Of all things there should be a religion and a politics sub forum...

For what it's worth...

A. I wasn't EVER disparaging the forum structure.
B. I didn't think I was spamming anything.

The only thing I have done is try to abide by the forum guidelines.

I will continue as mentioned and perhaps the forum moderators will consider adding a sub forum for religion and politics the other topics that continually to "spam" [Me included! grin] the general forum.

Nobody was singled out until they choose to be themselves. Look at the title of this thread!

We had a politics and religion forum and it was the worst decision ever in the history of this place. It became a liability quickly. The Internet warriors were threatening to kill politicians and each other. That is no lie! I've never banned anyone as long as I've vlounteered to do this but I do move posts. I don't make a big deal about it and I don't call folks out about it.

Seems like the subforum for food is where food posts should go to me. Logical enough.

Maybe we can have a Universal concept for food posts in the GF. You get one food post for yourself and 4 for each kid. After that your next food posts go to the guy who doesn't cook. smile

Like I said I didn't think I was spamming anything. Just sharing. I posted this thread not to be singled out, but to let other know who might me following the food posts, that I would be over there posting from now on.

Thanks to all the moderators for all they do.

I think we need a transgender forum because we definitely have some men here who act like women.

I think we need a "safe space" forum.
