Where do you get the president can't do anything.
He can SHUT the border down TOMORROW.
He can put military personnel on the border tomorrow, with shoot to kill order.
He can remove the stand down orders to the border agents tomorrow.
He can move troop at his will.
He doesn't need congress to do many thing.
He can fire the head of every agency tomorrow.
He can STOP the influx of un-immunized refugees tomorrow.
He can appoint judges. He can nominate SCOTUS judges.
Look what Obama has managed to do with a republican congress.
One of the biggest differences between those who support Trump and those who do not is whether or not he will actually do what he can do and has said he will do. Those who support Trump don't think that he will follow through with what he has campaigned on. You are correct in that he has the authority to do everything that you just mentioned. The question in everyone's mind is will he. To be honest, I think that the truth will lie somewhere in between. The question is, will everyone who voted for Trump because of what he promised during the campaign be upset if he doesn't follow through on all those promises?
