I don't consider myself a shonuff turkey killer, I guess I'm about average on this forum, but there is a collection of some of the best hunters in the state on here, and very few of the good ones sit in a sweat box and wait on birds.
My point is obviously flying right over the tops of y'all's heads. I'll re-state it again -- my brother used the blinds that he built (didn't purchase 'em from MW), and after scouting the birds, he placed the blinds in the spots where they were coming out, strutting, feeding, etc. He then scouted some more & made notes of what times the birds were coming to the various spots. He then got to his blinds a few hours in advance (or first thing in the AM, on one bird), and busted 'em in the head. The fact that he did not call is irrelevant.
Also, I don't dispute the fact that there are some really good hunters on this forum; awesome turkey killers, for sure. There are also some really good hunters & turkey killers that do not exist on this forum, too.
